Off to the airport shortly....thanks to Bill for being my chauffeur today!
As I contemplate this amazing journey, I'm already sad that it's only for two weeks, but then I smile when I realize it will be my first visit to Kenya, but certainly not my last (God willing).
It would appear that God would rather have me focused on Him, seeking His healing and praying for a quick recovery from this crazy all-of-a-sudden cough, than to think about much else, let alone the many hours I will be on the plane.
So, with all sorts of meds, vitamins and kleenex in hand, let's hope I am not quarantined when I arrive at the gate! Aha!! it's not really that bad, but it certainly is an unexpected challenge.
Girls in Kenya, are you ready for the next two weeks? Let's see what God has in store!

Your Mom is praying that you will feel better. I know when you arrived in Nairobi you were still sick. Now all you have to do is arrive in Mombasa feeling much better in the morning. Pastor Dan, Timothy and the whole congregation at CBC is praying for you as you reach out to all the precious girls at OHMH. I send my love to all the girls and know that you will be a blessing to them!
